Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

At Studio 2 Art & Design, we take pride in our handcrafted and bespoke creations. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, in accordance with Spanish consumer protection laws (RDL 1/2007) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

2. Right of Withdrawal (For In-Stock Items Only)

If you purchase an in-stock item, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
  • The withdrawal request must be made within 14 days of receiving the order.

How to Request a Return:

Email us at welcome@studio2artdesign.com with your order number and request to return the item:

  1. You will receive return instructions and the return shipping address.
  2. Ship the item back to us within 14 days of your return request.
  3. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund.

Who Covers Return Shipping?

If you are returning an item because you changed your mind (right of withdrawal), you must cover return shipping costs.

If the item is defective or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs (see Section 4).

Refund Timeline:

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

3. Custom & Made-to-Order Items – Non-Refundable

Due to their personalised nature, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Bespoke paintings made to your specifications
  • Upcycled furniture made to your specifications
  • Murals and wall art commissions
  • Decorative items made to order

Once an order for these items is placed, cancellations or modifications are not possible.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at welcome@studio2artdesign.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging

If your claim is approved, we will:

  • Offer a replacement (if applicable), or
  • Issue a full refund, including return shipping costs.

5. Refund Exceptions

We do not issue refunds or accept returns for:

  • Items returned without prior authorisation
  • Items not in their original condition or missing components
  • Items returned beyond the 14-day withdrawal period
