We are thrilled to collaborate with local artist Francesca

Hello everyone! Summer may be coming to a close, but here on the Costa del Sol the sunshine continues to inspire. This month, we’re turning the spotlight on Francesca Voyle, whose murals and decorative artworks bring a touch of wonder and the natural world right into interiors.

So, who is Francesca?

Francesca Voyle is a decorative artist and painter, expertly trained in the classical disciplines of mural painting, gilding, and trompe-l’œil.

Gilding is the art of applying thin layers of gold (or gold-like metal) to a surface, creating a luminous, reflective finish. Trompe-l’œil (French for “deceive the eye”) is a painting technique that uses realistic imagery and perspective to create the optical illusion of three-dimensional depth.

Her practice combines traditional techniques with a contemporary sensibility, resulting in work that feels both timeless and fresh.

What makes her work special?

At the heart of Francesca’s artistry is a profound appreciation for the natural world. She seamlessly weaves intricate depictions of flora and fauna into her designs, creating spaces that feel alive and immersive. 🌷
